AI Integration Manager

Komar, a global leader in the design, sourcing, manufacturing, and distribution of high-quality sleepwear, layering, and intimates is seeking an AI Workflow & Design Integration Manager to lead the adoption of GPT workflows, custom AI model development, and visual AI initiatives. The position is based in our Jersey City, NJ corporate office.

About the Role

Komar is accelerating its AI transformation across design, production, and go-to-market operations. We are seeking a full-time AI Workflow & Design Integration Manager with deep fashion design and production experience to lead the adoption of GPT workflows, custom AI model development, and visual AI initiatives.

This role is equal parts fashion production expert and AI enablement leader. You will work directly with design and production teams to embed AI into their workflows, ensuring solutions are practical, scalable, and directly tied to business value.

Key Responsibilities

AI Workflow Enablement

• Build, test, and roll out AI templates and GPT workflows for copy generation, QC, creative ideation, and structured deliverables.
• Translate business needs into AI-enabled workflows that save time and reduce errors across design and production.
• Document tasks, inputs/outputs, and adoption insights for continuous improvement.

Custom Models & Visual AI

• Lead the development and deployment of custom AI models for apparel design and production, including print, intimates, and creative services.
• Pilot workflows for visual asset generation (product imagery, retail visuals, photoshoot alternatives).
• Evaluate AI-powered production QC and strike-off processes.

Adoption & Training

• Act as the hands-on enabler for design and production teams—delivering onboarding, training, and ongoing support.
• Produce enablement materials such as the Firefly Prompting Playbook and visual demos tailored to fashion workflows.
• Champion adoption of ETLA and other enterprise AI tools across Komar divisions.

ROI & Reporting

• Maintain a living ROI Tracker of AI use cases (8–10 at a time), capturing time savings, error avoidance, and speed-to-market gains.
• Provide monthly updates and quarterly summaries to Komar leadership.
• Ensure measurable impact of AI initiatives within design and production.

Success Indicators

• Demonstrated adoption of GPT workflows by design and production teams.
• ROI validated by business anecdotes and manager-level feedback.
• Successful deployment of custom models for key fashion categories.
• Engagement metrics (Teams activity, tool usage, repeat adoption).

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience in fashion design and production workflows (apparel, intimates, or related categories).
• Hands-on familiarity with design processes, production QC, tech packs, fit models, and strike-off workflows.
• Proven experience with AI/Generative AI tools (ChatGPT, Firefly, Midjourney, Copilot, etc.).
• Experience training or enabling cross-functional creative/production teams.
• Strong communication and change management skills.
• Ability to bridge fashion expertise with AI/technology adoption.
