Regional Director of Operations

Job Overview: 

The Regional Director of Operations (RD) at Kolmac Integrated Behavioral Health and all its subsidiaries ("Kolmac" or the "Company") is a key member of the operational leadership team and will own the Operational, Financial, and Clinical performance over all offices within the region. The RD is responsible for implementing operational initiatives and procedures while ensuring the integrity of the Kolmac and/or Concerted Care Group clinical model and culture.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

• P&L responsibility for all service lines within region
• Utilizes and prioritizes site performance metrics and data to identify opportunities for operational and clinical improvements

• Becomes the Subject Matter Expert (SME) of the operational workflows and systems in the facilities managed by RD and ensures the fidelity of CCG’s operational and clinical model by consistently shadowing and observing clinical interactions and department level operations within each facility.
• Provides weekly and monthly updates to CCG leadership on the clinical, operational, and financial health of the region
• High level of organizational skills: Outlook, Teams, AI tools. Manages email daily, responds to all communication within 24 hrs.
• Exceptional time management skills with an ability to prioritize deliverables and meet deadlines
• Trains clinic leadership on HR sensitive responsibilities, progressive discipline workflow, and resolving conflicts within the team in a timely and professional manner.
• Responsible for communicating and supporting the implementation of clinical, medical, and administrative operations
• Implements the established policies and procedures within the region and introduces and directs operational changes at the site level, and as Kolmac changes and/or expands
• Responsible for the oversight of site admin team/office manager on all billing information and payments for patients
• Ensures that all revenue cycle processes are followed and issues resolved, in partnership with clinic level and revenue cycle leadership
• Leads/supports staff training that enhances service delivery and ensures operational workflows are being followed
• Ensures site compliance with state licensing requirements, as well as all other regulatory bodies (State licensing, DEA, CARF)
• Collaborates with the COO and other leadership to build and follow through on a strategic business growth plan
• Assists with new site selection, and acquisition of required licensure and certifications to open new locations.
• Proven ability to grow census by developing and implementing outreach strategies
• Works with leadership in contributing to the annual budget preparation process, along with developing creative initiatives to meet annual goals.
• Collaborates with the senior leadership to develop and implement evidence based clinical programming that enhances CCG’s current clinical and medical approaches
• Supports clinical leadership to ensure accurate, complete, timely and high-quality documentation and data collection to meet best practice clinical standards that comply with Kolmac policies and procedures, payer requirements and external regulatory standards including electronic and paper records
• Attends meetings of community and professional associations and activities related to delivery of treatment services to facilitate referral and resource development and to provide appropriate feedback to staff
• Interviews, hires, and ensure training of new staff members, with the support of the HR department. Completes performance evaluations of staff and create professional development plans as needed
• Develops and supports positive, professional, collaborative relationships with stakeholders to promote patient satisfaction, enhance the program quality and improve patient outcomes
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications - Education and Experience: 

• Must Haves:
  • Five or more years of experience with progressive management responsibility in multisite healthcare operation
  • Strong bias towards action and results
  • Proven ability to aggressively manage priorities and ensure follow through
  • Exceptional ability to problem-solve
  • Strong interpersonal skills: you engage people in an authentic way.
  • You know how to deliver thoughtful, actionable feedback and can influence people to get the best out of them

  • You set an extremely high standard for self and team
• Pluses:
  • Master’s Degree in Counseling or Social Work from an accredited university or college (preferred)

• Executive Director, and site management (Assistant Director, Clinical Leads, Practice Manager) in the event the Executive Director is not present or has not been identified.

Expected Travel Requirement:
