Spare Parts Sales, Shipping & Customer Support Representative

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Pay: $19–$21.60 per hour (based on experience)

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, detail‑oriented person to handle spare‑parts sales, shipping, phone reception, and general office support. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of customer interaction, hands‑on order fulfillment, and flexible tasks during slower periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers by phone, email, and in person with parts inquiries, pricing, and orders
• Process sales orders accurately and maintain product knowledge
• Pick, pack, and ship daily orders; create shipping labels; coordinate carrier pickups
• Receive and verify incoming parts shipments
• Prepare materials and meeting areas for customer visits
• Perform general office tasks (filing, scanning, data entry)
• Support other departments with small assignments when workload is light
• Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1–3 years of experience in parts sales, customer service, or warehouse operations
• Strong communication and professional phone etiquette
• Basic computer skills (email, Word, Excel, ERP systems, shipping software)
• Ability to lift up to 10 lbs and work on your feet as needed Preferred
• Experience with industrial parts
• Familiarity with UPS/FedEx shipping systems
• Inventory control knowledge

Pay: $40,000.00 - $450,000.00 per year
