Kokopelli Golf Course is seeking an energetic and customer-focused Pro Shop Attendant to join our team for the upcoming season. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about the game of golf and dedicated to providing our members and guests with a top-tier experience.
Responsibilities
- Warmly greet all members and guests upon arrival, both in-person and over the phone.
- Manage the point-of-sale (POS) system for sales transactions, including green fees, cart rentals, merchandise, and range balls.
- Book and manage tee time reservations using our online system.
- Answer phone calls professionally and provide information about the course, club policies, and upcoming events.
- Maintain the organization, cleanliness, and visual appeal of the pro shop, including merchandise displays.
- Assist with inventory management, including stocking shelves and processing incoming shipments.
- Communicate regularly with outside services staff (such as the cart and range attendants) to ensure a smooth flow of play.
- Enforce all course rules and regulations with a friendly and respectful demeanor.
- Assist with the setup and execution of golf tournaments and special events.
Qualifications
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred, but not required.
- Basic knowledge of the game of golf, including rules and etiquette, is a strong advantage.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and the ability to learn new software (e.g., our POS and tee sheet system).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong cash-handling and mathematical abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Must be able to work flexible hours 30 , including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
