What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pro Shop Attendant position at Jackson County Country Club?
We are seeking a dependable, energetic, and customer-focused Pro Shop Attendant to join our team. If you bring a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a welcoming presence for our members and guests, we will gladly provide all necessary on-the-job training. While prior golf knowledge is preferred, a passion for delivering great customer service is what matters most!
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service & POS: Warmly greet guests, ring up golf rounds, process merchandise sales, and handle cash/card transactions accurately.
- Outside Services & Fleet Management: Line up, stage, clean, and maintain the golf cart fleet to ensure high standards of safety and presentation.
- Pro Shop Maintenance: Keep the retail shop clean, well-organized, and fully stocked with merchandise, snacks, and apparel.
- Guest Support: Assist golfers with tee-time check-ins, answer general inquiries, and ensure an excellent overall experience.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Dependable, punctual, and highly reliable.
- Friendly, outgoing personality with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail and outdoor environment.
- Willingness to learn (prior golf course or retail experience is a plus, but not required).
