Responsibilities
- Supervise daily housekeeping operations, including cleaning, laundry, and custodial tasks, ensuring all areas meet quality standards.
- Lead, motivate, and train housekeeping staff to deliver outstanding service while adhering to safety and hygiene protocols.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules, checklists, and procedures to optimize efficiency and consistency across all departments.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment; coordinate procurement to maintain seamless operations.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public spaces, back-of-house areas, and equipment to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Address guest requests or complaints promptly with professionalism and a positive attitude to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth communication and support for special events or VIP guests.
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience in housekeeping or custodial management within a hotel or hospitality setting.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, commercial cleaning products, laundry processes, and janitorial best practices.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive work environment.
- Experience in hotel housekeeping management or hospitality industry preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to cleaning chemicals and equipment use.
