Job Summary
KOHLTECH, a growing privately owned fleet technology and manufacturing company, is seeking an Accounts Payable / Purchasing Assistant to support daily financial and purchasing operations.
This full-time, in-office position is ideal for someone organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a small office environment. The role focuses on accounts payable processing, purchasing support, inventory coordination, and general administrative duties. The ideal candidate is dependable, service-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and consistency.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Accounts Payable
- Enter and process vendor invoices
- Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with payment processing and maintaining accurate records
- Maintain organized financial files and documentation
Purchasing Support
- Assist in sourcing and ordering materials, products, and supplies
- Create and track purchase orders
- Communicate with suppliers regarding order status and delivery timelines
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and update systems accordingly
- Support inventory replenishment efforts
Inventory & Administrative Support
- Assist with inventory tracking and stock counts
- Help monitor reorder points to prevent shortages
- Coordinate incoming shipments and verify accuracy
- Print product labels and documentation as needed
- Provide general administrative support including correspondence and filing
- Support special projects as assigned
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working in a small office team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience with accounting or ERP software preferred
- Ability to lift boxes up to 25 pounds
Education & Experience
Required:
Experience in accounts payable, purchasing support, or general administrative work
Preferred:
1–3 years of relevant experience
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or related field
Schedule
Monday through Friday — In Office
Eight-hour workday
Compensation & Benefits
Pay: $40,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year (negotiable based on experience)
Performance-based bonuses
