Opportunity
GUEST FOCUS:
• Entertain clients on site during the sourcing (site visit) stage of proposal development.
• Collaborate with client to capture the vision and objective of their event.
• Lead direction for staffing levels of cross functional teams (both internal and external) to deliver luxury events.
• Manage, lead and mentor M&E Coordinator..
• Drive incremental revenue to the resort by promoting high margin programming; up-selling clients to exceed Food & Beverage minimums and adding incremental programming.
• Serve as on-site contact during high-profile programming.
• Partner with Corporate Sales team on pre-contracted site visits to increase capture rate of corporate events.
REVENUE GENERATION
• Partner with client to achieve resort or property spend above contracted obligation: F&B selections, upgraded linens, event space upgrades, additional activity selections, guestroom upgrades and promotion of pre/post guest stays.
• Deliver luxury programming to increase rebooking rates.
OPERATIONAL:
• Attend weekly Banquet & Event Order (BEO) and Resume meeting to drive scheduling and ordering assignments throughout the resort.
• Participate in departmental coverage as scheduled.
• Develop group quotes and negotiate with 3rd party product and service providers.
• Communicate up to the minute client revisions throughout the resort or property to promote the guest experience and increase rebooking rates.
• Create "resource library" for 3rd party vendors -- driving commissionable revenue to Riverbend or Kohler Hospitality.
• Conduct Post Conference Meetings with client and internal sales team -- providing profitability analysis on programming to internal teams.
• Participate in Manager On Duty Program – Morning, Evening & Weekend Coverage.
POSITION STANDARDS:
• Provide monthly banquet forecast to accounting and banquet/catering teams.
• Post audit program profitability via Master Bill actual spend in comparison to Contracted Obligation.
• Within all established guidelines:
- Generate proposals/contracts for one day events.
- Deliver banquet events orders prior to group arrival.
- Deliver group resumes prior to group arrival
- Submit group rooming list prior to group arrival
- Follow up on all accounts receivable billing concerns.
