Position Title: Spa Locker Room Female Attendant

Department: Spa 

Reports To: Spa Manager / Spa Supervisor

Position Summary

The Spa Locker Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and guest service within the spa locker room facilities. This role plays a critical part in delivering a seamless, luxurious, and personalized experience for members and guests. The ideal candidate demonstrates attention to detail, discretion, and a warm, service-oriented demeanor consistent with a world-class private club environment.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience & Service Excellence

•    Greet members and guests warmly, using names when possible, and provide attentive, anticipatory service 

•    Assist in checking members and guests in for their spa appointments in a professional and welcoming manner 

•    Provide a thorough orientation of spa and locker room facilities, amenities, and services 

•    Issue lockers, robes, and slippers, ensuring proper fit and guest comfort 

•    Use computer systems to check spa schedules, verify treatment times, and assist with appointment-related inquiries 

•    Facilitate food and beverage orders for members and guests using the appropriate computer/POS system, ensuring timely and accurate delivery 

•    Respond promptly to member/guest requests, always ensuring comfort and satisfaction 

•    Maintain a discreet and professional presence, respecting member privacy 

Locker Room Maintenance & Cleanliness

•    Ensure locker rooms, restrooms, showers, and relaxation areas are always immaculately clean and well-stocked 

•    Perform continuous upkeep, including sanitizing surfaces, replenishing amenities, and removing used linens 

•    Monitor and maintain inventory of towels, robes, toiletries, and supplies 

•    Report maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly 

Laundry & Linen Management

•    Collect, sort, and fold spa linens according to established standards 

•    Ensure timely availability of fresh linens throughout the day 

•    Maintain cleanliness and organization of laundry areas 

Facility Presentation

•    Maintain a serene, inviting, and orderly environment consistent with luxury spa standards 

•    Ensure all displays, amenities, and fixtures are presented with attention to detail 

•    Assist in preparing locker rooms for peak periods and special events 

Health, Safety & Compliance

•    Follow all health and sanitation guidelines 

•    Adhere to company policies, including safety protocols and emergency procedures 

•    Ensure compliance with all local and state regulations

Qualifications

Education & Experience

•    High school diploma or equivalent preferred 

•    Previous experience in hospitality, spa, hotel, or luxury service environment preferred 

Skills & Competencies

•    Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness 

•    Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills 

•    Basic computer proficiency, including experience with POS or scheduling systems preferred 

•    Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment 

•    Discretion and professionalism in a private club setting 

•    Team-oriented with a positive attitude 

•    Basic understanding of cleaning procedures and products

Physical Requirements

•    Ability to stand, walk, and be on your feet for most of the workday 

•    Ability to move continuously throughout the locker room and spa facilities 

•    Ability to bend, lift, and carry up to 25–50 lbs 

•    Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as cleaning and laundry handling 

•    Comfortable working in humid and warm environments

•    Assist with other spa or club operations as needed 

•    Participate in team meetings and training sessions 

•    Support overall spa operations to ensure a cohesive guest experience
