We are currently seeking a seasoned, customer-focused Parts Counter Specialist to join our team in Botkins, OH. What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)
- Greet and assist customers with identifying and purchasing the correct parts for agricultural and lawn/garden equipment.
- Provide tailored support for urgent needs, including machine-down situations and parts stocking programs.
- Use systems like IntelliDealer and Parts Lookup to locate parts and ensure accurate order processing.
- Record sales transactions and maintain up-to-date bin inventory records.
- Help maintain an organized and well-merchandised parts display area.
- Support service technicians by researching and supplying required parts for customer, internal, or warranty repairs.
- Deliver parts and supplies to designated areas in the service department per the branch layout.
- Handle returns efficiently, including processing returned parts, pallets, envirocrates, and other materials.
- Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing daily and in-stock orders.
- Help with internal Service and Sales administration when applicable.
- Foster long-term relationships—make every customer “A Customer for Life.”
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the branch.
- 2-3 years of experience in a dealership parts department (preferred)
- Strong technical knowledge of parts and equipment
- Familiarity with computerized parts systems
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Solid computer proficiency and high attention to detail
- Effective selling skills, especially in offering complete job solutions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and access shelving throughout the parts area
- Willingness to work Saturdays and flexible seasonal hours
