Kodiak Pacific Construction in Sherwood is now accepting applications for an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator.
We are closely monitoring the news as the situation around the coronavirus (COVID-19) progresses. That being said, part of our application process does require you to be present. NOTHING is more important to us than the safety of our applicants, staff and clients. As a result, we are taking all precautions to create a safe work environment for our staff.
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Must have a valid commercial driver’s license, and acceptable driving record.
- Minimum five years’ experience.
- Equipment experience should include excavator, dozer, grader, front-end loader, and compactor.
- CDL desired, but not a requirement.
- Must demonstrate excellent communication skills (verbally and written).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and dependability a MUST!
Duties, Responsibilities and Physical Demands:
- Maintain accurate logs i.e. log books, mileage logs, fuel logs.
- Must be flexible to work weekends, long hours as needed, and overtime when necessary.
- Maintain clean and tidy equipment.
- Operate equipment and transport heavy equipment in accordance to DOT safety regulations.
