Master HVAC TechnicianLocation: Richmond, VAPay: $33- $48 / hr DOEThe Master HVAC Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing medium to large heating and cooling systems and associated controls. This role emphasizes quality work and effective communication with customers, reporting to the Service Team Supervisor or Team Leader.Essential Functions:Adhere to safety rules and regulations.Complete required documentation timely.Utilize company mobile technologies.Maintain a professional appearance for self and equipment.Manage inventory and purchasing effectively.Communicate work order statuses to the Service Coordinator.Diagnose and repair HVAC systems and controls.Conduct preventive maintenance per service agreements.Assist in scheduling inspections.Perform additional duties as assigned.Requirements:Licenses:Master’s LicenseEPA-608 Universal certification.Experience:Minimum of 5 years in Commercial/Industrial HVAC service.Experience with larger RTU’s and split systems.Experience with Medical Chillers, Cooling Towers, Intellipaks, SCUD Units, pumpsExperience with Screw chillers, Centrifugal Chillers, Air Cooled Chillers, Flakt and Joy fans, & Pneumatic systems.Skills:Ability to work independently, multitask, and handle emergencies effectively.Ability to communicate and engage diplomatically with clients.Physical Requirements:Must see well (with correction if needed) and wear required PPE.Frequent light and moderate lifting; occasional heavy lifting.Frequent physical activities, including kneeling, standing, and climbing.Work Environment:Work primarily occurs in construction sites or customer facilities, often outdoors and in varying weather conditions, with exposure to mechanical parts and potential hazards.Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday; occasional evenings and weekends.Benefits:Competitive salaryCareer development and progression401(k) plan with company matchPTO and paid holidaysExcellent medical, dental, life, vision and disability benefitsEmployee Assistance ProgramEmployee referral incentivesSponsorship Notice:This position is open only to individuals who are legally authorized to work in the United States.
