Refrigeration Technician Indianapolis, IN $40 – $50 per hour (based on experience) Full-Time | Day Shift | On-SiteAbout the RoleKodiak is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Technician to join our growing team in Indianapolis. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of hands-on experience servicing and maintaining commercial refrigeration systems — including -30°F freezers, walk-in coolers, and reach-in units. You’ll work independently and as part of a skilled service team to ensure reliable, efficient, and safe operation of refrigeration systems for our clients.ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration systems and componentsPerform diagnostics on compressors, evaporators, condensers, and defrost systemsConduct routine maintenance and preventative checksMaintain accurate service records and work ordersEnsure all work meets local, state, and federal safety standardsProvide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clientsQualificationsMinimum 5 years of refrigeration service experienceExperience with ultra-low temperature systems (down to -30°F)Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skillsEPA Section 608 certification (Type I & II or Universal) preferredValid driver’s license and clean driving recordCompensation & Benefits$40–$50/hour, depending on experienceMedical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceLife Insurance401(k) with Company MatchPaid Time Off and HolidaysOpportunities for overtime and advancementAbout KodiakKodiak is a leader in mechanical and refrigeration services, dedicated to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
