Safety Coordinator

The Safety Coordinator is responsible for maintaining a safe work environment on construction sites by implementing safety programs, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards. This role partners with project teams to identify risks, deliver safety training, and promote a strong safety culture throughout all phases of construction.

Responsibilities

• Implement and enforce site-specific safety programs and OSHA compliance
• Conduct routine site inspections and address hazards
• Provide safety training, orientations, and toolbox talks
• Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions
• Maintain safety records, reports, and compliance documentation
• Ensure proper use and management of PPE
• Support emergency response planning and procedures
• Collaborate with project teams to promote safe work practices
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; related degree preferred
• 3 years of construction safety experience
• OSHA 30 certification required; First Aid/CPR preferred
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and communication skills
  
  

Work Environment: Primarily field-based on construction sites with exposure to typical jobsite conditions. Must be able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs.
