Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Read and interpret isometric drawings, blueprints, P&IDs, and project specifications.
- Prepare pipe joints by cutting, beveling, fitting, aligning, and tack welding materials.
- Ability to fit-up, fabricate, and the installation of piping systems.
- Familiar with standard Pipe Fitting formulas for fittings and offsets.
- Ability to lead a piping crew and maintain productivity and efficiency.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and all applicable welding procedures.
- 3 years of commercial or industrial pipe fitting experience preferred.
- Ability to read isometric drawings, blueprints
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
- Experience with pressure piping, chilled water, steam, hydronic, or process piping systems.
- Experience working on commercial, industrial, healthcare, or manufacturing construction projects.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
- Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in confined spaces.
- Ability to work from ladders, scaffolding, and aerial lifts.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, respirator (when required), gloves, and protective clothing.
