What You’ll Do
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair small to large commercial refrigeration systems, including:
- Walk-in coolers and freezers
- Reach-in units
- Display cases
- Ice machines
- Maintain and repair associated control systems and components
- Use instruments to test parts and verify proper system operation
- Disassemble and reassemble equipment to perform necessary repairs
- Communicate findings to supervisors and customers; ensure high service quality
- Provide preventative maintenance to improve equipment reliability
- Document all work accurately and maintain safety procedures on-site
- Proven experience in commercial refrigeration service and repair
- Ability to diagnose and resolve issues across a range of refrigeration systems
- Rack refrigeration experience (preferred but not required)
- Universal EPA Certification (required)
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Strong mechanical aptitude and communication skills
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, and unscheduled overtime
- Competitive hourly pay ($40–$50/hr) OT
