Project Sales Representative – Commercial HVAC

Base salary vehicle allowance commission

Overview:

We are seeking a results-driven Project Sales Representative to join our growing team. This role focuses on identifying and securing commercial HVAC projects, working directly with clients and internal teams to scope and deliver value-driven mechanical solutions. Ideal candidates may come from a project management, field, or operations background and are ready to transition into a sales-focused position.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Identify and develop new business opportunities for HVAC system replacement, retrofit, and design-build projects
• Conduct site visits to assess project needs, develop scopes, and propose tailored HVAC solutions
• Collaborate with estimating, engineering, and operations teams to deliver accurate proposals
• Maintain strong client relationships from project concept through completion
• Meet or exceed annual sales goals and margin targets, with commission based on performance
• Track sales activities and pipeline progress using CRM and internal reporting tools

What We’re Looking For:

• Solid understanding of commercial HVAC systems, components, and project lifecycles
• Field or operations experience in HVAC, project management, or construction is strongly preferred
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and technical scopes of work
• Strong communication, organization, and client-facing skills
• Self-starter with a high level of initiative and follow-through

Compensation and Benefits:

• Base salary: $85,000 - $95,000 depending on experience
• Commission: Sliding scale from 3%–7% based on annual sales plan, margin, and milestone achievements
• Vehicle allowance
