The Manager – Infrastructure (Linux) will lead and transform teams responsible for supporting, modernizing, and securing Linux and containerized deployments across the enterprise. This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence, innovation, and strategic alignment with business outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux infrastructure and a track record of building high-performing teams and services.
Our Team
The Koch Infrastructure team provides reliable, flexible, and secure solutions that empower business outcomes and profitable transformation. Our global infrastructure team manages all aspects of the enterprise network, hosting solutions, and leveraged datacenters. We provide enterprise infrastructure monitoring for IT components across the enterprise. We are currently focused on the following transformation strategies: talent, proactive management, process optimization and automation, security by design, delivering rock-solid operations, and enhanced observability.
Location: We are open to candidates based in Wichita, KS, Atlanta, GA, or Plano, TX. This is an onsite role with flexibility as needed.

What You Will Do
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a roadmap for Linux and container infrastructure, aligning with business objectives and future growth strategies.
- Architecture & Operations: Oversee scalable, secure, and resilient Linux and containerized environments. Ensure robust operations and continuous improvement.
- Innovation & Transformation: Foster a culture of experimentation and adoption of best practices in Linux and containerization. Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker)
- Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of engineers and architects. Promote collaboration, technical excellence, and continuous learning.
- Business Partnership: Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to drive strategic initiatives and seamless execution.
- Process Optimization: Identify and implement operational efficiencies to enhance reliability, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Governance & Compliance: Ensure Linux and container environments adhere to security, compliance, and quality standards. Support audits and risk management activities.
- Performance Management: Present strategies, updates, and performance metrics to senior leadership, driving accountability and transparency.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and transforming teams supporting Linux and containerized deployments.
- Proven track record in designing, implementing, and managing large-scale Linux and container environments.
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems (RHEL, SUSE, Ubuntu), container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with stakeholder management, including experience with global teams.
- Ability to develop and implement operational processes and procedures for Linux and containerized environments.
- Familiarity with security by design, proactive management, and enhanced observability practices.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and strategic thinking abilities.
