WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING...
- You will organize the warehouse while safely operating the forklift and hand truck.
- It's your job to maintain organization in the warehouse and work to maximize space.
- You will ensure ingredients are properly labeled and rotated.
- Maintain cleanliness, keeping floors free from spills and debris.
- Unload and rotate delivery truck ingredients.
- Unload bulk and liquid ingredients.
- Inspect incoming material, and verify the product matches receiving documents.
- Ensure products received are directed to proper bins, tanks, etc.
- Complete appropriate paperwork and reports.
- Rotate stock in compliance with the Warehouse Rotation Policy.
- All other relevant duties to the job.
- Manufacture of Feed
- Take Feed samples as required
- Record and provide proper documentation related to Batching
- Keep designated area clean at all times.
- Complete and comprehensive computer knowledge.
- Work directly with Delivery, Maintenance and personnel in the mill.
- Taking daily inventory.
- Some weekend work.
- Load feed trucks properly and in a timely manner.
- Unload ingredients from railcars and trucks.
- Collect proper samples and documentation for loadout and receiving.
- Ideally you will be Forklift certified.
- You must be able to work unsupervised, and posses a sound work ethic and moral character.
- It would be nice if you had some knowledge of feed manufacturing equipment operations.
- Willing to safely and properly lift 50 pounds to fill Micro Bins.
- Able to operate some heavy equipment (Trackmobile, Forklift,Tractor,Etc.)
- Be able to comfortably work in several areas including closed in and heights.
- Be willing to work flexible hours.
- Be willing to cross train for other job opportunities in the Feedmill.
- Have extensive knowledge of operating machinery by computer.
- Have strong Mechanical knowledge for problem solving.
THE ENVIRONMENT YOU CAN EXPECT...
- You will work inside of a poultry feed mill facility.
- You’ll need to be able to walk, twist, bend and lift various weights.
