Maintain facilities – Buildings, Aux. Equipment, and grounds
Key Responsibilities:
- Installing receptacles.
- Replacing (110V, 220V, and 480V) motors.
- Installing (110V, 277V, and 480V) light fixtures.
- Replacing bulbs and blast throughout the facility
- Maintaining HVAC systems
- Maintaining air compressors
- Maintaining the boilers
- Perform 5S activities.
- Drywall repairs.
- Painting
- Plumbing
- Fork truck repair
- Concrete repair
- Asphalt repair
- All other jobs, which pertain to the upkeep of the facilities
- Performs other duties as required
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Excellent problem solving and time management
- Ability to work well in a multi-cultural environment
- Must be able to operate forklifts, aerial lifts, cranes and maintenance type vehicles
- Ability to oversee contractors
- Ability to follow instructions
- Must be able to read and comprehend basic english
- Computer skills
- 2 years’ work experience in facility type maintenance
- Current State HVAC technician License or Completion of an HVAC Training program at a vocational school or apprenticeship
- Certification through the Environmental Protection Agency to handle refrigerants required
- Able to work in high places with aerial lifts and ladders
- Able to lift heavy objects
- Able to sit, bend, kneel, stand and walk
- Able to work in extreme heat and cold.
- Willingness to learn and work to be the best of his/her abilities as well to help the Kobe Team to grow from your experience
- Proficient with manual/power tools, multimeter, and able to solder copper
- Reliable and self-motivated
