Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments via POS or cashiering systems
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and maintaining a clean environment
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and guest satisfaction
- Engage with guests to foster positive guest relations and address any concerns promptly
- Support host/host duties when needed, including seating arrangements and managing reservations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles, including fine dining or nightclub environments preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and billing purposes
- Experience in upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales revenue
- Previous host/host or bussing experience is a plus but not required
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed in a hospitality setting
