Duties
- Greet guests warmly and efficiently
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, utilizing POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS to ensure seamless transactions
- Provide detailed menu descriptions, upsell specials, and recommend wine or beverage pairings to enhance guest satisfaction
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Ensure guest relations are positive by addressing concerns promptly and professionally
- Uphold food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures at all times
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms is essential for efficient order processing
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry
- Experience with upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while enhancing guest experience
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts, balancing multiple tables with professionalism
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction processing
