To warmly greet and provide attentive guest service on behalf of Ko-Kwel Gifts, ensuring each interaction is friendly, professional, and sales-focused. You help guests navigate the store, answer questions, promote events, and facilitate purchases, contributing to both guest satisfaction and store success.
What you bring to the table
- Make sure the space stays safe, clean, and friendly for both guests and the rest of the team; speak up and report any safety concerns to the Safety Committee.
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service, answering questions and directing them to various areas of the casino hotel as needed.
- Share promotional information about daily activities, events, and offerings to enhance guest engagement and drive sales.
- Act as ticket agent for upcoming events, including selling tickets, answering guest questions, and performing accurate data entry.
- Operate the POS system for sales transactions, ensuring accuracy and professionalism.
- Perform opening, stocking, and closing duties according to shift responsibilities.
- Receive and check in freight and ticket merchandise, ensuring accurate tracking and organization.
- Maintain a balanced cash bank throughout the shift and follow proper cash handling procedures.
- Assist with inventory management, including tracking stock levels and performing counts as needed.
- Anticipate guest needs, offer product recommendations, and upsell when appropriate to enhance guest experience and store performance.
- Jump in where needed to support the team and keep things running smoothly. (Other duties as assigned)

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Six (6) months retail experience with cashiering duties helpful.
- Must obtain an OLCC service permit within six months of hire.
- Basic mathematical aptitude.
- Ability to read, write and comprehend instructions.
- Data entry, computer skills, and phone experience a plus.
- Ability to operate CDS register.
- Comfortable communicating clearly and positively with both guests and teammates.
