As a Janitor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of office spaces and common areas. This position is ideal for individuals who take pride in their work, value attention to detail, and enjoy contributing to a positive workplace atmosphere. Monday-Friday 10pm-6am.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning tasks throughout office areas, including dusting, wiping surfaces, and maintaining cleanliness in common spaces
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including replenishing consumable supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper daily
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in designated areas
- Vacuum carpets and rugs, and mop hard surface floors to maintain a polished appearance
- Conduct floor care and carpet cleaning as needed, particularly during school breaks and closures
- Follow all safety and cleaning protocols to ensure a healthy environment
- Complete additional cleaning tasks as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Attention to detail and commitment to high cleaning standards
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Previous janitorial or cleaning experience is a plus, but not required
Offered compensation: $15/yr
