- Perform thorough cleaning of floors, carpets, windows, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment
- Handle chemical agents safely and correctly during cleaning processes, adhering to all safety protocols and manufacturer instructions
- Conduct manual handling tasks such as lifting heavy equipment or supplies to ensure efficient service delivery
- Apply floor care procedures including buffing, waxing, polishing, and stripping to maintain optimal surface condition
- Utilize specialized cleaning tools for carpet cleaning, floor buffing, and floor waxing to achieve professional results
- Maintain cleanliness standards by restocking supplies, emptying trash receptacles, and sanitizing high-touch surfaces regularly
- Follow environmental services guidelines to minimize waste and promote eco-friendly cleaning practices while ensuring compliance with health regulations
Skills
- Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles within commercial or institutional settings
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment operation for various surfaces including floors and carpets

- Physical stamina for manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking throughout shifts
