Knowlton House Distillery and restaurant is looking for an energetic and dependable Kitchen Porter / Dishwasher to be the backbone of our culinary operations. This is a perfect entry-level position for someone eager to get their start in a vibrant, fast-paced kitchen. Your Role in Our Success:
As a key member of our kitchen crew, you'll ensure our team has the clean dishes, cookware, and tools needed to create amazing food for our guests. Your efficiency and attention to detail will directly impact the flow of service and the overall success of our restaurant.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Operate our dishwashing station to efficiently clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, and kitchen equipment.
- Properly stack and store all cleaned items in their designated places.
- Keep pace with the high-energy environment of a busy restaurant, prioritizing tasks as needed.
- Uphold our high standards for cleanliness and safety by maintaining a tidy and sanitary workstation.
- Work alongside our kitchen and front-of-house staff with a positive, team-first attitude.
- Follow our end-of-night procedures, assisting the team with closing duties to ensure a smooth start for the next day.
- Take on other tasks as directed by the Kitchen Manager to support the team.
