Job Duties: The candidate will be expected to maintain a caseload of children from 6th - 12th grade in a short-term clinical mental health program participating in admissions. They will provide individual, group and family therapy and crisis intervention services. They will need to function as part of an interdisciplinary team, participate in weekly treatment team meetings and link youth up to community-based resources. They will also need to maintain timely medical record documentation, facilitate thorough discharge planning and follow up.

Service Location: Rockland Adolescent Intensive Day Treatment @ Riverview High School, 131 North Midland Ave, Nyack, NY 10960

Minimum requirements, including licenses and certifications:LMSW License is required

Schedule and anticipate length of assignment: Monday-Friday 8AM-4:30PM approximately 7 months, however not guaranteed.

Background check requirements:Selected candidate must complete and be cleared through the required finger printing and Statewide Central Register.

Vaccination requirements:Mumps (titers or vaccine), Measles (titers or vaccine), Rubella (titers or vaccine), varicella (titers or vaccine or documentation from MD of having disease), Hepatitis B blood work or vaccine Or Signed Declination, PPD/QuantiF

OMH required training (This training will be provided by OMH):New Employee Orientation Training NEO (2 days – Thursday & Friday) , Therapeutic Relationship Universal Training TRUST and Youth Empowers Strategy YES ( 5 days–Monday thru Friday)
