Key Responsibilities
Network and Infrastructure
- Maintain and support network equipment across central and remote locations (firewalls, switches, wireless, security filters, cameras)
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues
- Manage WAN and VPN connectivity (Cisco AnyConnect, Microsoft Remote Desktop Services)
- Support physical infrastructure including cabling and hardware installation
Server and Systems Administration
- Manage Windows Server environments including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
- Maintain Hyper-V cluster environments and SAN storage systems
- Administer file systems, print servers, antivirus and EDR platforms
- Perform backups, restores, replication, and offsite storage rotation
- Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning
User Support and Workstation Management
- Maintain desktops with patches, updates, and new software deployments
- Resolve end user technical issues quickly and professionally
- Manage users and devices across Active Directory and Microsoft 365
- Support Microsoft Teams and SharePoint environments
Cybersecurity and Compliance
- Support compliance with NIST 800-171 for government contract requirements
- Monitor system logs and security alerts
- Manage user access controls and authentication policies
- Strengthen endpoint security and vulnerability management
- Conduct risk assessments and support IT security policy compliance
Additional Responsibilities
- Manage VoIP systems including user setup, routing, and voicemail administration
- Provide support across multiple locations
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred
Certifications (Preferred)
- Microsoft Azure Administrator
- CompTIA Network or Security
- Cisco CCNA
Technical Experience
- 5 years supporting Microsoft server and desktop environments
- Strong networking knowledge including VLANs, switching, and firewall management
- Hyper-V virtualization and cluster storage
- DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
- SQL basics
Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
