DPS .NET Projects and Support
Candidate will work on existing and new initiatives including but not limited to Assessment Management System, Telecommunication Company Information, Pipeline Audit System (PAS), Document and Matter Management (DMM), and 753 Enforcement support, enhancements, and developments efforts.
Day-to-Day Tasks

Day-to-Day Tasks
- Use recognized business analysis methodologies to elicit requirements from business users for the project.
- Facilitate and guide requirements sessions with IT and DPS business staff. Communicate the business process requirements to IT staff, program staff and stakeholder.
- Develop and document Business Requirements for the project using defined ITS template and standards. Develop, analyze and revise system diagrams (flowcharts, state diagrams, strategy maps, etc.) as needed on the project
- Ensure that requirements and deliverables are verified and validated at each phase of analysis and testing
- Track and fully document changes for functional and business specifications; write detailed procedures for permanent records and for use in training
- Participate in developing test plans for the project and in overseeing system changes or enhancements, to ensure user and program requirements are met.
Business Analyst -

Requested Qualifications
- 76 months experience working on Business Requirements Project, as lead Analyst, which involved the application of strategies to gather and document business process requirements of new application
- 76 months experience working as the Lead Business Analyst on projects on which they utilized recognized business process management methodologies (e.g., elicitation and documenting of business process requirements, business process modelling, As-Is and To-Be workflow development and gap analysis, UML etc.) to define and analyze current business processes in order to remodel/design the new process and improve on the existing ones.
- 48 months experience with planning, coordinating, developing test cases and test plans to ensure user and program requirements are met.
- Possession of a valid (active) IIBA CBAP certification or a PMI PBA certification
- 76 months experience with internal and external stakeholder communications and outreach, including the development of presentations and other materials that promote the rethinking of core business processes and envisioning of a reengineered environment.
