Job Description Project/Program:We are looking for a technical expert to build data workflows, validate financial data, and enforce data quality. Candidate will actively engineer data solutions, automate manual reporting, and query complex datasets to support the Insurance and Technology divisions.

Day-to-Day Tasks

• Translate complex business requirements from Insurance stakeholders into technical specifications for data pipelines and automated workflows.
• Build and maintain data warehousing workflows and data pipelines using SQL and cloud database tools.
• Compile, compute, and validate insurance financial data using advanced statistical formulas and model calculations.
• Elaborate high-level policies and business needs into technical requirements (user stories/system use cases) to guide platform implementation.
• Execute data profiling, build exception reports, and manage metadata/lineage using governance platforms.
• Use technical expertise (Python/VBA/R) to automate data ingestion and reporting processes.
  
  

Mandatory Qualification

IT Specialist -

Works in the field of Information Technology, experienced in the usage and support of a collection of development platforms, technical architectures or business applications and products that run on those platforms - beyond that of a Programmer.

Expert -

84 months: Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.

Requested Qualifications

• 84 Months of experience in Data Engineering, Architecture, Data Governance, or Data Quality Assurance for Financial Reporting.
• 84 Months of Experience in SQL and Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS), including querying complex datasets.
• 84 Months of Experience in Compiling, Computing, and Validating Financial Data using advanced statistical formulas and model calculations.
• 48 Months of Experience in Building and Maintaining Data Workflows and data pipelines using database tools, specifically translating business requirements into technical specifications.
• 36 Months of Experience in Automating Data Ingestion and Reporting using programming languages such as Python, R, or Excel VBA.
• 36 Months of Experience in Data Visualization utilizing PowerBI or Tableau.
• 24 Months of Experience in cloud-based data platforms, preferably Snowflake.
• 12 Months of Experience with MDM and Cataloging Platforms (e.g., Informatica, Collibra, Alation) to execute data profiling and manage metadata/lineage.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative discipline (Computer Science, Statistics, Finance, or related field).
