What You'll Do
As a Senior Industrial Field Service Technician, you'll serve as a trusted technical expert for our customers by:
- Troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing industrial electric motors, VFDs, drives, and control systems
- Diagnosing electrical and mechanical failures using industry-standard diagnostic equipment and software
- Performing equipment startups, preventive maintenance, warranty repairs, and emergency service calls
- Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
- Providing customers with clear repair recommendations and technical findings
- Maintaining accurate service documentation, time reporting, and inventory for your company-provided service vehicle
- Participating in a rotating 24/7 on-call schedule
- Promoting a safe, professional, and customer-focused work environment
Occasional overnight travel and weekend work are required.
What You Bring
We're looking for someone who has:
- 5 years of industrial field service or related electrical/mechanical experience
- Strong knowledge of electric motors, VFDs, motor controls, and industrial electrical systems
- Experience troubleshooting industrial automation equipment
- Excellent electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills
- The ability to work independently while providing outstanding customer service
Preferred Qualifications
- Medium Voltage experience
- Journeyman or Master Electrician License
- Welding and fabrication experience
