Job Summary
Knott's Land Care is seeking an experienced Maintenance Foreman to lead and elevate one of our landscape Maintenance crews. Duties
- Lead, supervise, and motivate a 2–3-person crew
- Manage and motivate a small team to ensure effective performance
- Promote a motivated, respectful, and well-disciplined work environment
- Maintain high-end residential and commercial properties
- Operate trimmers, blowers, and related landscape equipment
- Ensure consistent job quality, productivity, and safe work practices
- Perform daily equipment inspections and routine maintenance
- Execute seasonal tasks related to landscape maintenance and winter snow operations
- Professionally represent Knott’s Land Care on all job sites
- Ensure all equipment and tools are loaded, secured, and ready for daily operations
- Assist in maintaining necessary materials and supplies
- Accurately record work completed and materials used
- Review daily site expectations with the crew at the beginning of each shift
- Report equipment issues to the mechanic promptly using the appropriate procedure
- Keep company vehicles clean, free of debris, and washed weekly
Qualifications
- 5 years of lawn and landscape maintenance experience
- Proven leadership and communication skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with clients and team members
- Excellent customer experience skills
- Working knowledge of landscape safety practices
- Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record (less than 4 points or equivalent)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Card
- Pass a Drug Test
- Ability to lift 50 lbs consistently
