Cook – Skilled Nursing Facility
Knollwood Healthcare is seeking a dependable, experienced Cook to join our dietary team. If you take pride in preparing quality meals and enjoy serving seniors, we’d love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals according to menus and recipes.
- Follow therapeutic and modified diets as directed.
- Ensure food is prepared, served, and stored in accordance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
- Work closely with the Dietary Manager and dietary staff to provide excellent service to our residents.
- Assist with food preparation and kitchen duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous cooking experience in a healthcare facility, nursing home, restaurant, or institutional kitchen preferred.
- Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
