Seeking motivated line cooks, prep with experience and flexibility. Must be able to work nights and weekends. Looking to hire experience, and pay will be adjusted by experience and willingness to be a team player! Our goal is to reopen seven days a week and we need strong team members to allow for this.
Summary
As a Line Cook/Prep Cook, you will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen by preparing high-quality meals and maintaining food safety standards. Reporting to the Head Chef, your core skills in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen experience will be vital in delivering exceptional dishes. Your premium experience in fine dining and menu planning will enhance our culinary offerings, while relevant skills in catering and serving will support our team in providing an outstanding dining experience. Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or culinary setting
- Strong knowledge of food handling and safety protocols
- Excellent knife skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
- Familiarity with meal preparation and catering services
- Experience in fine dining or menu planning is a plus
- Background in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is advantageous
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and menu specifications.
- Ensure proper food handling and sanitation practices are followed at all times.
- Assist in meal preparation and presentation, maintaining high culinary standards.
