Responsibilities

• Operate cash registers accurately, handling retail sales transactions with precision and efficiency
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product demos
• Manage cash drawer handling responsibly, ensuring proper cash handling procedures and balancing registers at shift end
• Upsell products and promote store promotions to enhance sales and improve customer satisfaction
• Stock shelves, organize displays, and assist with merchandising to maintain an attractive shopping environment
• Use POS (Point of Sale) systems confidently to process payments via cash, credit/debit cards, or mobile payments
• Maintain professional phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or via online inquiries
• Support inventory management by stocking products and conducting stock checks as needed
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth store operations

Requirements

• Previous cashiering experience or familiarity with cash register operations preferred
• Strong communication skills and the ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and balancing registers
• Knowledge of retail store product lines and merchandising principles is a plus
• Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer bases effectively
• Supervising experience is advantageous for those interested in leadership opportunities within the team
• Ability to demonstrate product demos confidently and educate customers about features and benefits
• Excellent phone etiquette and professional demeanor when interacting with customers or team members
• Willingness to learn about retail math, upselling techniques, and POS systems to enhance performance
• Have to be at least 18 to serve beer
