We are seeking an Entry-Level Diesel Technician - Trailer & Fleet Maintenance, to join our team. The ideal candidate has a basic understanding of medium-to heavy duty mechanical work, a willingness to learn, a strong work ethic, and is dependable.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventative maintenance, services, and DOT inspections to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Inspect, identify, and complete general truck and trailer repairs, including brakes, air bags, suspension, air systems, and lighting.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues.
- Follow repair instructions and complete assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with other truck and trailer repairs as needed.
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of medium-to-heavy duty truck and trailers.
- Previous mechanical experience preferred.
- Willingness to learn and follow through on assigned tasks to ensure they are completed fully and accurately.
- Dependable with a strong work ethic.
- Able to effectively communicate repair needs.
- Ability to lift heavy parts and work in a shop environment.
- CDL is not required.
Pay based on experience.
Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour
