Responsibilities
- Prepare federal and state tax returns.
- Prepare apportionment methods and data for state filings and calculate tax base for state franchise taxes.
- Calculate estimated payments and filings, taxable income forecasts, tax allocation schedules
- Research federal, state and international tax issues.
- Draft responses to state tax inquiries.
- Calculate book-to-tax adjustments for the tax provision and reconcile related deferred tax balances for temporary differences.
- Analyze & maintain tax accounts, balances and reconciliations.
- Support and implement process and technology improvement initiatives.
- Proactively develop and implement improved processes to minimize income tax risk and enhance internal controls.
- Analyze changes to federal, state and international tax laws.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3 years of corporate income tax experience
- Straight public or a combination of working in public accounting & corporate tax
- Working knowledge of ASC 740, FIN48, APB 23 and FIN 18
- Highly proficient in Excel
- Experience with OneSource Tax Provision and OneSource Income Tax software.
- Masters in Taxation a plus
- Experience in Tax Technology a plus.
Salary : $105,000 - $120,000
