Responsibilities
- Maintain the general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations and month-end close.
- Generate monthly financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Resolve account reconciliation variances.
- Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
- Review monthly financials for unusual trends, fluctuations, and inconsistencies.
- Perform monthly variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior periods.
- Develop recurring financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs.
- Compile financial data for budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes.
- Evaluate job cost reports for accuracy and proper allocation.
- Investigate cost variances.
- Assist with WIP schedules and project performance reporting.
- Maintain and distribute Time & Material and Change Order pricing schedules.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Construction background is a big plus but not required.
- Strong Excel skills
Salary : $90,000 - $105,000
