We’re seeking a high-performance, execution-focused Sales Manager to elevate our sales organization to world-class levels of precision, accountability, and results.
Position is based onsite in our Sunnyvale HQ (This is NOT a remote role)
The Opportunity
Based in our headquarters in Sunnyvale, CA, you will lead a team of driven sales professionals with one goal: deliver consistent, measurable growth. This is not a maintenance role - it’s a build, scale, and enforce opportunity. You will bring process discipline, data-driven decision-making, and a results-first mindset to transform how we sell, forecast, and win.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own the number - Set clear, aggressive sales targets — and ensure every rep owns their metrics and performance.
- Drive operational excellence - Implement structured processes for pipeline management, qualification, forecasting, and deal reviews.
- Coach through data - Use CRM insights (HubSpot) and conversion analytics to identify bottlenecks, coach performance, and raise standards.
- Enforce accountability - Maintain high expectations, run disciplined weekly reviews, and hold every rep to measurable KPIs.
- Build a winning rhythm - Drive consistency in daily activity, deal flow, and forecast accuracy across the team.
- Collaborate to scale - Partner closely with Marketing, Client Experience, and Operations to ensure lead quality, onboarding speed, and customer success.
- Represent the brand - Lead by example in client engagements, demos, and negotiations, ensuring Knightscope’s value and mission are clearly articulated.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 5–10 years of sales leadership experience in B2B technology, SaaS, or physical security solutions.
- Proven track record of consistently hitting or exceeding team quotas in fast-paced, complex sales environments.
- Fluency in CRM-based management (HubSpot preferred) and pipeline math — you know your coverage ratios, conversion rates, and close velocities cold.
- Physical Security knowledge/work experience and/or background
- Experience building structure from chaos - you’ve implemented playbooks, dashboards, and activity standards that improved performance.
- Strong coaching discipline - you develop reps through data, not anecdotes, and hold them accountable to improvement plans.
- High grit and urgency - thrives in environments where speed, precision, and discipline determine success.
- Excellent communication and executive presence — comfortable holding the line both up and down the org chart.
COMPENSATION
- Base Salary: $145K – $160K (depending on experience)
- On-Target Earnings (OTE): $185K – $200K (Base Commission Bonus)
- Equity participation available
