Job Summary
Knightscope is seeking a results-driven Director of Client Development to lead revenue growth across the East Coast territory. This role is responsible for owning and delivering against a regional quota through a combination of new customer acquisition, account expansion, and renewals. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in enterprise sales and account management with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
About the Role
As Director of Client Development, you will be responsible for driving end-to-end sales execution within your territory. You will develop and execute strategic territory plans, build and manage a robust pipeline and ensure accurate forecasting. This role requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders across production, manufacturing, service, engineering, marketing, finance and operations to deliver a seamless customer experience.
You will also play a key role in strengthening relationships with existing customers and identifying new market opportunities. Experience selling Emergency Communication Devices (ECD) is highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Exceed East Coast revenue goal across new business, expansions, and renewals
- Develop and execute strategic account and territory plans
- Identify, target and prospect new customers while growing existing accounts
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline, ensuring consistent deal progression
- Drive forecasting accuracy and maintain CRM hygiene using HubSpot
- Leverage prospecting tools (e.g., Apollo, LinkedIn) to identify, engage and develop new pipeline opportunities
- Collaborate with existing channel partners to drive joint opportunities
- Partner cross-functionally with production, manufacturing, service, engineering, marketing, finance, and operations
- Represent Knightscope at customer meetings, industry events, and trade shows
- Travel as needed to support customer engagement and business development activities
Required Qualifications
- Proven track record of success in sales and/or account management, consistently meeting or exceeding quota
- Demonstrated experience in strategic territory management
- Strong pipeline generation, deal management and forecasting capabilities
- Experience working with CRM and sales engagement tools (e.g., HubSpot, Apollo, LinkedIn)
- Ability to operate as a self-starter with a high degree of ownership and accountability
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Experience working with or managing channel partners
- Willingness and ability to travel as required
- Experience selling Emergency Communication Devices (ECD) or related technologies
- Experience working in cross-functional environments with technical and operational teams
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $100,000 – $120,000 (DOE)
- Variable Pay: $40,000 - $80,000
- OTE: $160,000 - $200,000
- Equity: Stock options
