- Knight Security NY is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to join our dynamic team in the New York City Metropolitan Area. This is a full-time, on-site position responsible for managing and optimizing daily scheduling operations for our security personnel. The Scheduling Coordinator will ensure all assignments are properly staffed, shifts are accurately maintained, and last-minute adjustments are handled efficiently. This role requires excellent communication, strong attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment supporting multiple high-profile events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, maintain, and update schedules for security personnel across multiple job sites and events
- Coordinate with management and HR to meet staffing needs and ensure proper coverage
- Communicate schedule changes promptly to team members and clients
- Track attendance, shift swaps, and time-off requests
- Assist with onboarding coordination and ensure new hires are integrated into the scheduling system
- Provide administrative support to management regarding staffing and scheduling reports
- Work closely with operations and event teams to anticipate and resolve scheduling conflicts
- Proven experience in scheduling, operations coordination, or administrative support (security or events industry a plus)
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in scheduling software and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Flexibility to adjust to changing event and staffing requirements
Annual Compensation: $52,000 – $56,160
Location: New York City Metropolitan Area
