SUMMARY

Knight Facilities Management is seeking a motivated and reliable Maintenance Technician / Helper to support our client at their Odessa, TX facility. This role requires hands-on skills in basic facility maintenance and mechanical support, as well as forklift certification for safe material handling. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced industrial environment and takes pride in maintaining safe, efficient, and clean operations.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safely operate forklifts for material movement, staging, and loading/unloading.
• Perform light maintenance and repair on building systems, tools, and equipment.
• Assist with plumbing repairs (fittings, valves, seal replacements).
• Support HVAC technicians with filter changes, coil cleaning, and basic maintenance.
• Complete assigned work orders, preventive maintenance, and safety inspections.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of work areas following all safety policies.
• Performs routine preventative maintenance to ensure equipment performance is maintained
• Properly completes required documentation & Supports 5S initiatives as directed

 KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS 

• Valid forklift certification (required).
• 1–3 years of facility, warehouse, or light industrial maintenance experience.
• Basic understanding of mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools safely.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in a physically active environment.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
