What are the responsibilities and job description for the HUMAN RESOURCES GENERALIST position at Knight Dental Studio?

Your job:
- Assist in developing and executing personnel procedures and policies, providing guidance and interpretation
- Participate in the development of HR objectives and systems, including metrics, queries, and standard reports for ongoing company requirements
- Assist in administering benefits, compensation, and employee performance programs
- Suggest new procedures and policies to continually improve efficiency of the HR department and organization, and to improve the employee journey
- Ensure legal compliance of HR state and federal regulations and applicable employment laws, and update policies and/or procedures as required
- Responsible for the weekly and bi-weekly time card approval and payroll processes
- Responsible for sourcing, attracting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding employees
- Form close relationships with hiring managers to ensure clear candidate/interviewer expectations
- Provide reports and data to finance team monthly (new hire, terms, roster) and as requested
- Provide monthly and quarterly wage reports to State agencies
- ADP administrator – ensure accuracy of employee data in ADP – identify inconsistencies and correct
- Responsible for all personnel changes in the system (new hires, moves, terminations, etc.)
- Completes employment verifications
- Manages employee electronic files
- Assist in updating job descriptions for branding and content
- Audit, maintain, adjust PTO policies and balances
- Work with department managers to ensure the weekly and bi-weekly payroll process is smooth and accurate
- Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs in different areas and departments
- Participate in employee retention activities and employee engagement initiatives
Your skills:
- Experience with ADP or similar HRMS system is required
- HR generalist or specialist experience is required
- Experience processing payroll or administering payroll is required
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects effectively
- Strong sense of urgency and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business or related field
- HR Certification or the ability to obtain certification is preferred

Location:
Our network of dental laboratories spans six states, with labs in Florida, Connecticut, Maryland, Mississippi, Rhode Island, and New York. The Leixir Home Office is in Tampa, Florida.
Interview Process

- Information Screening: The Talent Manager will have a 20-to-30-minute phone conversation focused on relevant work experience, compensation, role overview, and answering any questions you may have.
- Manager Interview: 60-minute interview with two key members of the team. This will take place at the lab and will dive deeper into the role, and requirements of the position.
- Offer: The Talent Manager will reach out with the details of the informal offer for discussion. After all the details of the informal offer are finalized, the formal offer letter and job description will be sent. At this time, we will conduct a background check.

Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
