We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Service Porter to join our team. As a Service Porter, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the service area, assisting with vehicle movement, and delivering outstanding customer service to enhance the overall guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their needs as they arrive at the dealership.
- Drive vehicles to and from the service area, ensuring safe operation at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including washing and detailing vehicles as needed.
- Assist technicians by delivering parts and supplies within the dealership.
- Provide support for valet parking services when required.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers to ensure a positive experience.
- Handle customer inquiries and requests with professionalism and courtesy.
Skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with a diverse clientele.
- Previous experience in a dealership or automotive environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with valet parking procedures is beneficial.
- Experience as a delivery driver or in hospitality/guest services is advantageous.
- Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles confidently.
- Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating a commitment to meeting customer needs effectively.
