What are the responsibilities and job description for the Surface Grinder position at KNIGHT CARBIDE?
Grinding machine operator to manufacture carbide inserts and blade style cutting tools.
Prmarily on surface grinders both manual and hydraulic.
5 years metal cutting experience minimum.
Must be able to:
Read blue prints and work instructions in english.
Build setup to locate part correctly for operation
Dress diamond grinding wheel for proper shape and flatness
grind parts to size
Inspect parts with micrometers, gauges or optical comparator
Make adjustments if necessay
Enter inspection and opration data in pc.
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
