Position Summary:
Lindstrom's Auto Body is seeking a highly skilled collision estimator to join our Woodland team. The Collision Estimator is responsible for providing accurate repair estimates, facilitating clear communication with customers and insurance companies, and ensuring that repairs are completed to the highest standards of quality. Position Available: Collision Estimator (Full-Time)
Location: Lindstrom's Auto Body - a Kniesel's Co., 1217 E. Beamer St., Woodland, CA 95776
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Deliver top-notch customer service by clearly explaining repair plans, maintaining open communication throughout the repair process, promptly addressing concerns, and ensuring customer satisfaction upon completion.
- Estimating: Demonstrated proficiency in collision estimating processes, including body, frame, mechanical, and paint operations. Capable of conducting comprehensive damage assessments and producing accurate, detailed repair estimates.
- Insurance Coordination: Collaborate with insurance companies to ensure repairs are approved and align with insurance and Kniesel’s standards.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with body technicians and other team members to manage repair timelines and deliver high-quality repairs.
- Compliance & Quality Control: Perform quality inspections to ensure repairs meet Kniesel’s standards, ensuring accuracy and adherence to all regulatory guidelines.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience as a collision estimator or in a related role is preferred.
- Knowledge of CCC1, Mitchell, and other collision repair estimating software.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with customers, insurance companies, and team members.
- Familiarity with Nexsyis management software is a plus.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
