JOB TITLE: Sales Representative
EDUCATION: A High school diploma or equivalent is required. Post-secondary education in Business, Sales, Marketing or related disciplines is desired. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
CAPABILITIES: Good communication skills are required with above average abilities in working with others. Must be a self-starter and capable of working efficiently in an unstructured environment.
· Advanced negotiation techniques while maintaining strong relationships with clients.

EXPERIENCE: Must have a minimum of 1 year experience at Technik or 2 to 5 years' experience in sales or retail management, including effective sales and marketing practices and principles.
JOB DUTIES: Following is a list of duties that are considered normal for this position:
· Make sales calls to distributors and customers
· Develop a fundamental understanding of Technik’s products/solutions and match those solutions to customer needs.
· Drive to create new opportunities and product selection.
· Develop and maintain strong business relationships with distributors and customers.
· Perform various administrative, sales and customer service duties, answer customer inquiries in a timely manner.
· Gain a solid understanding of customer's needs and how to translate those requirements or opportunities. Execute solution selling through a working knowledge of Technik’s production, service and design processes.
· Grow profit and maximize margins by selling value-added, long-term solutions, with emphasis on demand creation and engineering.
· Follow up with sales calls on new machine leads. Communicate sales leads to distributors when applicable.
· Perform telemarketing as necessary.
· Performs special projects upon request.
· Attend and represent Technik at trade shows and distributor shows.
· Performs other duties upon request.
· Some travel is required.
WORK HOURS: 8:00 to 5:00 with some flexibility.
PAY RANGE: Base commission
Pay: $50,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
