About the Role
We are seeking a Business Analyst (BA) with strong functional expertise in Security Capital Markets and a deep understanding of the Front-to-Back Trade Lifecycle. The ideal candidate will partner with business stakeholders, technology teams, and QA to gather requirements, map processes, and support delivery across trading, order management, record-keeping, and reporting platforms.

Key Responsibilities
- Work with business users to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for trading and post-trade systems.
- Perform detailed analysis of trade lifecycle processes including order capture, execution, allocation, confirmation/affirmation, settlement, and downstream processing.
- Translate workflows into BRDs, FRDs, use cases, process flows, and data mapping documents.
- Collaborate with product, development, and QA teams to ensure requirements are fully understood and implemented accurately.
- Support creation of acceptance criteria and assist in UAT planning and execution.
- Analyze data flows across OMS, ODS, record-keeping, and reporting platforms.
- Perform gap analysis, impact assessments, and propose solutions to support enhancements or regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment; participate in sprint planning, grooming, and demos.
- Use JIRA to manage user stories, acceptance criteria, and project progress.

Required Qualifications
- 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst within capital markets, trading, investment management, or financial services.
- Strong understanding of Security Capital Markets including equities, fixed income, derivatives, and FX.
- Solid knowledge of the Front-to-Back Trade Lifecycle.
- Experience working with order management, trading, or record-keeping systems.
- Ability to create high-quality requirements, process maps, and documentation.
- Working knowledge of JIRA for requirements and workflow management.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with CRD (Charles River Development OMS).
- Familiarity with ESP (Enterprise Service Platform).
- Understanding of RKS – Record Keeping System (ODS).
- Exposure to Snowflake for data analytics or reporting.
- SQL knowledge for basic data validation and analysis.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
