12 hour Shifts - working 2 p.m. - 2 a.m. on a 2/2/3 rotation

Responsibilities
- Determine if machines need to be taken out of production for repairs or service
- Take an active role in the requisitioning of parts/materials necessary for the continued operation of the plant
- Perform preventative maintenance as scheduled and as needed
- Communicate maintenance issues with other shifts to ensure continuity of operation. Read and record comments in both Maintenance and Production logbooks
- Remain current on plant and safety matters, participating regularly in department/plant safety meetings
- Oversee all electrical needs for the facility (lighting, production equipment, systems, etc.)
- Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment, using electrical and electronic test equipment.
- Install and repair electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment
- Replace defective electrical switches and other fixtures
- Repair and maintain electrical equipment for building
- Install machinery and equipment according to blueprints and other specifications with regard to electrical requirements
Preferred Education :
- Two (2) year degree in electrical or trade school certifications for basic PLC, controls troubleshooting, arc flash training, national electrical regulations, high voltage
- OSHA Certified Industrial Truck Operator License
- Minimum of two (2) years maintenance experience working with a variety of mechanical equipment in a heavy industrial environment
Salary : $41 - $75
