Registered Nurse - Wound Care
We are seeking a Wound Care RN , which is also referred to as a W ound C are, O stomy, or C ontinence N urse (WOC) . The Wound Care RN will specialize in assessing and treating skin breakdown and wounds in a clinic setting . As a Wound Care Nurse , you will also be consulted during a patients stay in a hospital for a w ound or pressure injury , w e are also consulted for ostomy care . The Wound Care RN will also be responsible for determining the proper course of treatment and interacting with services in the community to continually care for the wound care patient .
Shift’s Available : Days – (No Weekends)
Employment Type : Full Time
Hours : 8 HR – 8:00am to 5:00pm

Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse provides direct care in the outpatient wound care clinic as well as evaluating inpatient wounds. Communicate with physicians / charge nurse / co � workers, as appropriate regarding changes in the patient�s treatment, clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies. Has the ability to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.

Education and Work Experience
- Must have current and valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the state.
- BCLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
- Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
- Previous Wound care knowledge and or experience preferred (1 Year).
- Wound Care Certification within first year of hire
- Wound, Ostomy, Continence (WOC) Certification preferred
